Brian Smyczynski
Brian Smyczynski has been a technology advisor for over 20 years. He holds certification from companies including Microsoft, Symantec and CompTIA. Brian is currently a managing partner with Smart Tech MSP,
an information technology consulting company serving businesses throughout the greater Houston area.

Kate Reid
Over the last 20 years, Kate has gained a keen insight into the inner workings of dental practices, while focusing on developing best practices for organizational health, new business development, and referral relationship management. Before leaving private practice, she was a Practice Administrator for a multi-doctor, multi-office oral surgery practice in central New Jersey. During that time, she was an active member of the JAWS Society and served on the Board of Directors.  In 2016, Kate joined the San Francisco Bay Area-based integrated and experiential marketing firm, Nuvolum, as Director of Consulting. Leveraging her clinical, business, and leadership experience, she implemented cutting edge marketing strategies with 31 practices across the U.S. and Canada. In 2018, Kate aligned with Terri Bradley Consulting as a Practice Management Consultant. Her areas of expertise include practice management and growth; team building, training, and empowerment; process improvement; and change management.
Kate is a certified Everything DiSC® and PXT Select™ Trainer and lectures nationally on how to build high-performing dental teams, improve communication, and provide superior patient experiences in the digital age.  Originally from Colorado, Kate spent most of her life in North Carolina. She graduated from Peace College with dual majors in business and biology, and a minor in chemistry. In her free time, Kate and her husband, Mark, enjoy traveling and spending time at the beach with their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Baker.

Network Security 101

Cyber security is everyone’s responsibility. Brian Smyczynski will provide attendees information on how to recognize online risks and threats, and establishing good habits to reduce risks from malware, hacking and phishing schemes. He will also introduce concepts to help office staff strengthen HIPAA compliance.

In her fun and interactive workshop, Kate Reid, with Terri Bradley Consulting, will explore the best practices for creating a patient-centered practice, while assisting you in developing a strategic internal and external marketing plan for elevating the level of service patients receive when at your office.
